Budbrain Megademo is remembered less for one revolutionary algorithm than for the way it combines music, animation, humour and scene attitude into a complete show. Its strongest sequences remain instantly recognisable, while its weaker and more dated material makes the production uneven but never anonymous. The result is an outstanding Amiga classic whose personality proved more durable than many technically superior contemporaries.
